Omnilab is an immersive seven days co-creation residency leaded by professional musicians and producers, directed to young musicians with ages from 15 to 20 years old that never played together as a band.
On the first day they met their bandmates and worked on a cover song.
On the second day they recorded a version.
On the third and fourth day they worked on ideas to build an original song, on the fifth and sixth day they recorded it.
On the seventh day they worked on the EP's artwork and the promotional plan of the release.
As result of the first Omnilab, promoted by the portuguese label Omnichord, here's an EP with two cover songs (Nice Weather For Ducks "On The Sand By The Sea" and Surma's "Maasai) and two brand new songs (Invulgar and Abyss).
